Why did the Political Tsunami happen in Malaysia first of all.A question that most of us already know the answer to.The need for a better Malaysia and the need for a Malaysian Malaysia. The need for a country which practices Competency,Accountability and Transparency. The three core discipline that the DAP (Democratic Action Party) practices.
The political tsunami although has made a great change, yet the struggle continues where the expectation of the people towards their elected representative are very high.In an effort to deliver we are using all our resources to ensure that we are always in reach for those who need our help.
The 13th Malaysian general election must be held in 2013 or before 2013. The constitutional parliamentary term in Malaysia is five years, after which the parliament must be dissolved by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Prime Minister as pertained in the Malaysian laws for national elections. Malaysia uses the first-past-the-post system. The election will be conducted by the Election Commission of Malaysia. Other state assemblies are usually dissolved at the same time as the Federal Parliament while the Sarawak state assembly is not dissolved at the same time.
YB Tanasekharan wishes all Hindu's in Bagan Dalam Constituency a very Happy Deepavali. May this festival of lights brighten our future.
